I was recently asked to photograph the inside and outside of a number of offices inside a big office block for the use of advertising the space for the letting agents in their brochure. Some of the floors were occupied with companies and some floors were completely empty.
When working on interior photography in office environments or a home it is hard to try and capture the sense of space or potential the area might have. Make it look appealing. An office for example isn’t a home, it’s not personal, it is totally functional but yet I find there is beauty and a sense of art in even the most stark commercial sites.
In the first picture below I hope I have captured elegance from cold concrete. Space in silence and an inviting space to work in. I love structures, angles and lines. There is something very pleasing about it to me and I was pleased with these image, as was the client.
